Purpose
The Buckingham Solid Waste & Recycling Center is located at the intersection of James Madison Hwy (Route 15) and Wingo Road (Route 750). This site has a monitor stationed and a camera at all times.
This site offers cardboard recycling, glass recycling, newspaper recycling, construction debris, metals, appliances, and general household trash. No canning jars or windshields are allowed in the glass bins. Aluminum recycling is offered in January, March, May, July, September, and November on the third Saturday of the month, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m - payment is given based on the amount of aluminum brought.
This site is open from 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. seven (7) days a week.
