As of June 4, 2008, the 100% Transportation Enhancement plans have been submitted to VDOT for their review.

The Dillwyn Business District Revitalization project has selected the team from Hurt & Proffitt, Inc., which includes the following: Hurt & Proffitt, Inc., LPDA, Inc., Fraiser Associates, and Arnett Muldrow & Associates. This team will conduct marketing analysis, business development strategy, physical improvement plans.

Transportation Enhancement, Phase 2. The plans have been reviewed by VDOT and we are working on their comments for the next submission.

The town has received word that the proposal that was sent in for the next revitilization phase has been approved.  This will allow the Town to hire the necessary person or persons to start the evaluations of the buildings for extimated costs of repairs, etc.

Other Projects:

The town is working on two other projects: (1) Storm water Drainage (behind the buildings on Main Street, between Conner and Hancock. (2) Comprehensive plan rewrite. These two are in addition to the Transportation Enhancement and the Business District Revitalization Planning Grant.
