Town of Dillwyn Government & Administration

The Town of Dillwyn is governed by a six member Town Council and a Mayor. The six council members and mayor are all elected by the registered voters that reside in the Town. The Vice-Mayor is elected by the Council. The Council is elected every two years. The Mayor is elected independently, or separate from the Council. The person who carries out the day-to-day tasks of the Council is the Clerk of the Council. The Clerk records all minutes, maintains correspondence, acts as Treasurer of the Town and performs other tasks desired by the Council.

Town Hall General Information

Location: The Dillwyn Town Hall is located in the town of Dillwyn on Main Street (or Highway 15 North) about 1.1 mi North of the intersection of 15 and 20. The Dillwyn Town Hall is the official administration office that governs the Town. For a photo of the Town Hall, click here.
