Fire Department
The Buckingham County Volunteer Fire Department offers emergency services to the public of Buckingham County. There are four firehouses in Buckingham: Dillwyn, Glenmore, Arvonia, and Toga. Each fire station has a full staff consisting of chief, lieutenant, and other members.
In an emergency, dial 911 for services offered by the department. In a non-emergency, dial the station telephone number. Station telephone numbers are as follows:
Dillwyn: 434.983.3484
Glenmore: 434.969.2317
Arvonia: 434.581.3232
Toga: 434.969.4444
If no one is available at the station, please dial 434.969.1772 for the Sheriff's Office E-911 Center.
